Teenage Bottlerocket, Cruisin’ for Chicks
I have enjoyed Teenage Bottlerocket for a number of years. Total and Warning Device are fantastic albums. But I was sorely disappointed by They Came from the Shadows. This new album Freak Out! Sounds a lot more promising.

Ha! What people think of me doesn’t really affect me much, actually. A few people think I am a punk, but other people disagree: I am a geezer, I don’t feel the need to shave my head or dye my hair anymore, I never enjoyed wearing black, etc.
I grew up listening to hardcore (and a lot of DK) so I heard that punks should use their brains and not blindly accept what the government and corporations are trying to cram down our throats. I have tried to live my life that way. So what does it matter what other people think of me? I gotta be me, if I tried to be somebody else I’d simply be an actor.
