Hi everyone, it’s getting to be that time of year again when we begin announcing all the goings on with Riot Fest. It’s gotten so big lately that we can’t do it all ourselves any more so we’re looking for some fresh street team volunteers for 2012. Are you willing to hang up/hand out fliers around town, use the general social media to promote shows and in return get free stuff, early access to shows and more? If this sounds like your type of deal download this application, fill it out, then shoot it off to this email address. We’ll be in touch! Posted by Bill

The band most recently released the studio/live LP combos Love/Fight in 2009 and have been playing the occasional shows (around California mostly) for the last decade or so. via Riot Fest

Larry and his Flask, Land of the Free
Guess who is seeing Larry and his Flask tonight with the Reverend Horton Heat? This clip is from last year’s Punk Rock Bowling. Larry and his Flask were the band everyone was talking about from Last year’s Riot Fest.
NME reports today that the personal record collection of the BBC’s legendary DJ John Peel will soon be made into an interactive, online museum exhibit. According to the report the visitor will be able to visit a re-creation of Peel’s home studio and collection, which spanned 25,000+ LPs, 40,000+ 7”s and too many CDs to count. The way it’ll work is when a specific band is clicked on they person will be able to view Peel’s personal notes, archival performances and new interviews with band members. The Space (as it’s referred to in the article) will be live from May to October, though from the looks of it they’ll keep expanding the project in the future.
